LOUISVILLE, KY - James D. Holley of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee (Nashville area) has been a golf clubmaker for over 4 years and a member of the Professional CLUBMAKERS’ Society since 2007.  Holley achieved the distinction of Certified “Class A” Clubmaker by passing rigorous written and practical skills examinations.  The PCS developed the certification program to ensure that each Certified “Class A” Clubmaker achieves the highest standard of academic proficiency, applied technology and excellence in craftsmanship.  All certified PCS members must abide by the PCS Code of Ethics. 

Holley builds golf clubs uniquely fitted to your stature, swing pattern, swing speed, tempo, stance, etc.  Since clubmakers like Holley are independent craftsmen, they do not incur the high cost of advertising and pro-endorsements.  This makes the product more affordable than the highly advertised, mass-produced national brands. 

A professional clubmaker is to golf equipment as a professional teacher is to the golf swing.  Technology today enables a professional clubmaker to select the components that will most accurately assist golfers in making the most of their swing.  Golf swings are as individually different as fingerprints.  To be properly fitted, one cannot expect to purchase ready-made clubs off the rack.

The Professional CLUBMAKERS’ Society is an independent international organization whose mission is to foster, promote, and elevate the profession of custom citting, making, and repair of golf clubs throughout the world.
