NASHVILLE, TN - The 2008 Holley’s Stix customer survey was recently conducted, seeking responses to a series of statements regarding quality of workmanship, overall expectations and specific performance of custom golf clubs purchased through the Holley’s Stix clubfitting process in 2008. The purpose of the survey was to gain an understanding of where Holley’s Stix clubs are doing well and where there are opportunities for improvement.
Approximately 50% of Holley’s Stix patrons who purchased new clubs in 2008 participated in the survey. Two thirds of the survey responses were based on full set purchases while the remainder of the responses were based on individual clubs or subsets (drivers, fairway woods, wedges). One third of the respondents have played more than 15 rounds of golf with the new clubs and half have played more than 5 rounds. Some of the specific feedback comments were:
- Great process. Great clubs. Great guy.
- Very pleased with new clubs. Thanks for the help.
- The absolute best thing I could have done for my golf game
The survey questions as seen below were formatted for multiple choice responses to statements relative to workmanship, expectations, and improved distance, control (shot dispersion) and accuracy. The choices ranged from “Strongly Agree” (Rating value = 5) to “Strongly Disagree” (Rating value = 1). A response of “Neither Agree or Disagree” received a rating value = 3.

The average rating for each survey question, along with an overall rating of responses is found in the chart below.

We are very pleased that our customers indicate a high level of satisfaction with Holley’s Stix workmanship and are equally pleased that the custom built clubs are meeting expectations. We are also pleased that improved accuracy is rated at least a 4.0 for drivers, irons/hybrids and wedges. Our studies and experience indicate that improved control and accuracy is a key factor in increased enjoyment of the game of golf and lower scores. The survey responses consistently agreed that the control and accuracy with all clubs has improved. The responses relative to improved distance ranked slightly lower than control. There were no responses, however, that disagreed with the statement that distance has improved.
We appreciate the golfers who took the time to respond to our survey and pledge to use the results to continue to provide the highest quality clubfittings and golf club assembly that is available in the marketplace today.
