Introducing Holley's Stix, Golf Clubfitting and Equipment Services
Holley’s Stix was founded by Jim Holley who has been playing golf for over 30 years. Holley began golf club fitting, club assembly and club repair in 2003 and has continued to pursue the craft since moving to the Nashville, Tennessee area in 2004.
Holley was trained at Golfsmith International in Austin, TX, where he completed the “Complete Clubmaker Training” program and attended workshops and seminars at annual Golf Clubmaker Association (GCA) International conferences. He has achieved the distinction of GCA Accredited Professional Clubmaker by successfully completing the examination requirements to demonstrate a complete knowledge of the skills of golf clubmaking. His clubfitting skills have been enhanced through the completion of The GolfWorks Shaft Technology School in May, 2007. Holley is a member of the Professional Clubmakers Society and is a Certified “Class A” Clubmaker.
The Mission of Holley’s Stix is to enhance recreational golfers’ enjoyment of the game of golf through player and equipment assessment, professional clubfitting and custom club assembly. The foundation of Holley’s Stix clubfitting services is the Holley’s Stix Par 5 Clubfitting System, which encompasses various golfer and equipment measurements to ensure that the completed clubs enable the golfer to play and enjoy the game at the highest level of satisfaction. The Holley’s Stix Par 5 Clubfitting System is based on the book Common Sense Clubfitting, the Wishon Method by Tom Wishon. All clubs built by Holley’s Stix are assembled to exacting specifications to ensure consistency throughout the set. Shafts are Frequency Matched and complete sets are MOI matched to the golfers “favorite” club.

Holley’s Stix offers complete club Reshafting and Club Repair services, using the Assessment and Evaluation steps of the Holley’s Stix Par 5 Clubfitting System to ensure that the Reshafted and Repaired clubs are consistent with the golfer’s existing set. Shafts are available in Steel, Graphite and Scandium alloy. Products are available from a variety of manufacturers such as True Temper, UST, Aldila, Element 21 and others.
Holley’s Stix Regripping services include a complete analysis of the golfer’s existing set as well as accurate Grip Sizing. A full range of Cord, Rubber and Multi-compound grips are available from leading industry manufactures such as Golf Pride, Winn, Lamkin and others.
